Forgotten Worlds is an auburn-tinted bar slotted into Johnston Street’s rapidly developing strip. Vintage arcade games hum along the walls. All the classics are there – Street Fighter, Virtua Cop, Mortal Kombat, Double Dragon and Chase HQ to name a few. It might remind you of your childhood, but the point of difference is the cold beer resting on the machine. It’s a bar with arcade games in it rather than an arcade game bar and the bar has a distinct leaning towards craft beers.

There is foot path trading to the front of the venue, assorted seating and tables throughout amongst the machines and a cosy covered courtyard at the rear of the venue.  Half way down is the bar and a small food preparation area, the latter that provides a good range of snacks.  At the end of the courtyard is a converted double garage that now provides a great storage area so that there is no clutter at all in the bar.

Rent and outgoings come in at a ridiculously cheap amount of less than $500 a week.  There are seven years left on the lease with the landlord open to negotiate another term.  The venue has an on premises licence till 1am with a capacity 34 which can be increased.  As it has arcade games on site there is a specific section allowing those under the age of 18 on site. All fixtures and fittings are included in the sale including 16 arcade machines.

So the venue is a unique space that suits an owner operator either experienced or starting out.  Forgotten Worlds can remain as it is or be transformed in to what ever the new owner wishes.  Creativity is the only limitation.  The vendor is looking for offers in the region of $150,000 PRICE REDUCTION for this exclusively listed venue.
