The name gives the location of Hotel Spencer away.  You'll find the place on the corner of Rossyln Street and Spencer Street just up from the Festival Hall.  So straight away there are the big pay nights when something is on at the hall. The Hotel Spencer Bar & Dining Room have aimed to stay true to the 100 years of its rich history of this Melbourne Hotel.  Brimming with old-world charm from its burnished wood fixtures to the roaring fireplace there are two main areas.  The public bar area and the small dining area. They are split by the entrance to upstairs to the backpackers that is independent of the hotel. The kitchen is off the side of the dining room.
