Established in the early 1900s, the Panton Hill Hotel has a long and varied history establishing itself as a favourite destination on the fringes of Melbourne. The bull parked outside the front of the venue automatically catches the eye of those driving past to turn in to the large car park.  The Panton Hill Hotel is just what you would expect from a country pub serving the local community and also those heading in to the area from Melbourne for the weekend with live music, traditional pub food and drink.

Heading inside there is a self enclosed children’s room with a dining area out side the entrance door.  The other side of the room is dominated by the ornate bar, and on Saturday nights the back corner is occupied by live bands. Heading past one of the large fireplaces in to the main bar and dining room, if patrons are not dining they can head through to the public bar.  The large kitchen can be seen from just about every table so that diners can see all the different offerings that come out of there.  Heading out the double doors of the dining room there is a large covered deck for external dining and this leads down to a series of decks covered in tables and umbrellas.  These tables normally accommodating parents keeping an eye on the children in the play area.  Included in the lease is a paddock which is past the play area that can be sublet for horses or could be an extension of the play area or even used for a chickens or a children’s farm.

Back inside the pub there is a function room that can look after 70 seated , with its own small bar.  There are a series of storage rooms and an office behind the bar.  Underneath the bar there are more storage rooms, the beer cellar, external storage and a courtyard.  And underneath all of this is another bar that opens up the ground floor level of the play area and is used in the busy Summer months when outside is packed.

The pub has a General Licence until 1am with a great capacity of 423. There are fifteen years left on the lease made up of 5x5x5, with rent coming in under $3100 a week including GST. All fixtures and fittings are included in the sale.

The venue suits either a hospitality group or an experienced owner operator as it is run under management at the moment.  The vendors wish to concentrate on their core business of building projects as they are unable to spend much time dealing with the venue.  There are a full set of books which justify the vendors asking price of $195,000 (Price Reduction) for this exclusively listed venue.

This venue is now SOLD.
