Port of Call has undergone quite a transformation over the last year as it has metamorphosed in to a beautiful venue.  Located at the top of Queen Street facing out to Queen Victoria Market it captures a diverse but local clientele. During the week there are the regulars from the nearby offices such as the ACTU and local flats.  Then there are those looking for a drink and feed in a nice environment after the market and at night it is a go to venue for a loyal crowd and upstairs functions.
When the sun is out the bifold doors across the front of the venue open up to entice in those walking past.  Smells from the charcoal grill in the courtyard drift out and always turn heads.  Downstairs is the main bar, food preparation area, varied seating and this leads through to the courtyard.  From there you continue past the large cool room and upstairs to a yet to be developed room/bar.
From the centre of the down stairs seating area you walk through a revolving book case and head upstairs.  There you will find an immaculately designed and set out private bar (The Captain's Quarters) and function space with its own toilets and sound system.
Port of Call has a late night licence till 3am with a capacity of 120.  There are twelve years left on the lease made up of 6x6. Rent including outgoings and GST is $2800 a week. All fixtures and fittings are included in the sale.
The vendor had no intentions of selling the business as he had just spent a fortune on the refurbishment and so has no books prepared.  Personal issues force the sale of this exclusively listed venue. The sale will be walk in walk out and the vendor is looking for any offers if you take on the finance agreements for the new kitchen, sound and POS system.
