Did you know that there is only one pub in Belgrave and that is the Bell Tavern. The area was dry until quite recently so the pub was only built in 1998.  It is a locals venue with the traditional pub grub and usual beers on tap.  During the week it is the locals and the weekend the venue is busy with bands, functions and footy.

There are two outside areas, the first seating outside the front of the venue over looking the main street and a small courtyard to the rear of the venue.  The pub is really one main room with a long bar facing you as you head in.  During the Summer months all the windows can be opened up to make the place look even bigger.  Off to the right there is a private dining/function room that can look after 20-40 patrons depending on the type of function.  To the rear of the bar is a good sized commercial kitchen.  Above the bar is mezzanine level with one room converted for those wishing to play darts and a couple of small store rooms.

The Bell Tavern has a general licence until 1am on premises and midnight off premises with a good capacity of 150.  A long lease with 20 years left made up of 5x5x5x5.  The rent has been reduced by the landlord upon transfer including GST $1320 a week.  All fixtures and fittings are included in the sale and there are no supplier contracts or lease equipment.

The venue has been run by a couple for the last few years but ill health forces the sale.  They would like to stay in the venue as they have so much fun but that is not an option.  So the Bell Tavern would suit a husband and wife team or an individual as owner operators that want to run a popular classic of a pub.  The venue has consistent trade and this is shown on a good set of books which justifies the vendors asking price of $150,000 (Price Reduction) for this exclusively listed venue.

This venue is now SOLD.
